Welcome to The Bertram Community Cupboard!
The Bertram Community Cupboard opened in April 2025 to serve residents of the community who need assistance in obtaining supplemental food to sustain their families. Estimates indicate that there are more than 130 families in our immediate area currently in need of this type of service.
Families may choose from a variety of food items. We offer canned goods (vegetables, fruits, and soups), pasta, rice, beans, cereal, peanut butter, eggs, fresh produce, and protein/meat. In addition, we have diapers and formula when donated to us for distribution.
We rely on donations from local churches, businesses, and individuals to help cover our financial needs. The City of Bertram has generously allowed us to use their property located at 112 Grande Street (next to the baseball fields). The building initially required remodeling, painting, and a parking lot to meet the requirements for a food pantry. We are grateful to have completed these updates, and it has become a beautiful space for our neighbors.
